Cardamone Law Proudly Sponsors Tex Mex 5K Race!
Cardamone Law has sponsored the Tex Mex 5K Race for Open Space. The race was venued in the North Wales, Pennsylvania on June 26, 2019, at 7 pm. Thousands of runners gathered for the race to preserve open space and created public trails, for a 5K run. This was not the first time Cardamone Law has sponsored the race.
The funds raised by the race were granted to Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) — an environmental organization in North Wales. Last year, the race raised more than 1 million dollars as funds for the WVWA.
After the race, the majority of the runners stayed for the “Party-Under-the-Stars” accompanied by the famous Margaritas of Tex Mex, buffet dinner, live music, and so much more. Every year, around 1,700 runners and 120 volunteers take part in the Tex Mex 5K race.
The prizes were distributed to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runners distributed in the groups of 5 year age, 15 years and under, 16-20 years, and up to 70 years or older. Winners received a gift certificate by Tex Mex Connection along with a pint glass.
