MyPhilly WorkersComp Attorney Michael Cardamone Successfully Presents PA Work Comp Settlement To Workers’ Compensation Judge In Bucks County

Michael W. Cardamone, President of Cardamone Law a rare boutique firm dedicated solely to workers compensation for injured workers, and known as MyPhilly WorkersComp Attorney, presented a workers’ compensation settlement to a Work Comp Judge last week. Cardamone negotiated the deal for his client, an injured bus driver, after several years of litigation and monitoring of the matter.

All lump sum settlements under the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act must be approved by a Work Comp Judge at a hearing. Once approved, and assuming the 20 day appeal period is waived by the parties, the insurer/employer/TPA has 30 days to pay from the date of the Judge’s Order.
