Attorney Michael Cardamone, owner of Cardamone Law, a PA Work Comp boutique serving injured workers, secured an initial victory for his client, an injured pet store manager, at the outset of litigation. The insurer alleged that Cardamone’s client could return to gainful employment in her geographical region based on expert medical and vocational reports. However, Cardamone successfully defended the allegations by proffering medical and vocational evidence of his own, along with his client’s Affidavit, which in totality demonstrate that his client is unable to work at this time. The victory allows the indemnity (wage loss) benefits to continue as the year -long litigation unfolds.
