PA Workers Comp Attorneys- Cardamone Law- Defeat Billion Dollar Company In Workers’ Compensation Litigation On Behalf of Injured Worker
Michael W. Cardamone, Founder and President of Cardamone Law- a specialized Pennsylvania Work Comp boutique based in Blue Bell, PA, has secured a significant victory on behalf of his client, an injured worker with a permanent work-related low back injury.
After almost 1.5 years of litigation, the Workers’ Compensation Judge ruled for Cardamone’s client, finding she is not fully recovered from her work-related injury. Cardamone successfully argued that the IME doctor’s opinions were less credible than the opinions of his client’s treating physician, and that Claimant’s testimony was credible. Two medical experts testified in addition to Claimant.
The victory allows Cardamone’s client to continue receiving both wage loss and medical benefits under the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act. Litigation costs were also awarded to Cardamone Law given the successful outcome.
This was the second round of litigation with the Employer/Insurer. Cardamone had previously won litigation which forced the Insurer to start paying his client her workers’ compensation benefits after he work injury prevented her from working.
