The Workers’ Comp Judge approved the settlement after Cardamone convinced him that his client understood the full legal significance of the Agreement.

The deal, which was just under $200,000.00, will allow Cardamone’s client have financial breathing room as she searches for a job within her physical capabilities. Before the case settled, the work comp insurer threatened Claimant’s benefits alleging a full recovery. However, it was clear from the treating physician’s records, that she was no where near a recovery as the IME doctor claimed.
